›Bestiarium‹ ist der spielerische Versuch, die Entstehung einer Struktur und damit den Aufbau eines Kommunikationssystems sichtbar zu machen. Sechs Mundpiktogramme, verteilt auf 25 Quadraten, bilden als viereckiges rasterartiges Mosaik die Grundlage dieser Pionierarbeit der Computeranimation. Der mit einem Amiga 2000 realisierte Clip erscheint wie ein optischer Synthesizer, der den von Jandl gesprochenen Text mittels einer von Eku Wand entwickelten und animierten ›dynamischen Lippentypografie‹ visualisiert.
This is the playful attempt to visualize the emergence of a structure and the subsequent creation of a system of communication. Six mouth-pictograms, which are spread over 25 squares in the shape of a grid like mosaic, form the base of this pioneering feat in the field of computer animations. The clip was realized with an Amiga 2000 and it works like an optical synthesizer, visualizing the text spoken by Jandl with the aid of a form of dynamic lip-typography developed by Eku Wand.
