Heiko ist Anfang 30, Sohn einer Bauernfamilie. Als er seine Arbeit im Dorf verliert, zieht er in die Stadt. Doch dort wird er zum bloßen Beobachter des Großstadtlebens und bleibt einsam trotz seines neuen Jobs. Als er seine Austauschbarkeit einmal mehr erkennt, trifft er eine Entscheidung.
Heiko, a peasant’s son in his early thirties, loses his job in his village and moves to the city. Once there, however, he becomes a mere observer of city life and remains alone despite his new job. When he realizes his replaceability once more, he makes a decision.
